I'd just like to remind people as the elections draw to a close that without a gay man it is very likely that America would have lost it's war for independence. Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben is mentioned in history books, but very rarely do they bring up the fact that he was Gay....Maybe certain people should read a little about this man before they vote on gay marriage =P
Everyone amazing was LGBT. There is reason to believe that Shakespear and Michelangelo were at the very least bisexual.
Sort of like how the mathematician, cryptographer and founder of computing Alan Turing was also gay, and arguably contributed in a material way to the allies winning World War II.
For some reason when I read this I though, ".....wait.....Winston Churchill was.....":jawdrop: yea.....not sure about that one. Maybe most, but not all. (that we know of ) P.S. yay for gay Prussian Generals!
Don't forget Sophie Wilson, a trans woman who developed the ARM Processor. Without her, we wouldn't have cell phones, calculators, or most electronics.
