That's good news I heard a chunk of taxes also benefits public education.

Marijuana legalization passed in WA and CO...but it looks like it's going down in flames in Oregon.

Oregon failed to pass, 55% voted no.

Stupid state. At least Washington's just up the road, right?

Now the question is: what's the federal government going to do about this?

Eugh, the thought of everyone smoking that freaks me out. :/
So does everyone drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes though so might as well be equal. (I'm not against, just a random fact about me. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

The same thing they do about "illegal" medical marijuana. Which, to your average recreational user, is nothing. You still can't smoke pot in public, or drive while high. I'm not sure what it's going to do for employment drug tests.

If you have feds knocking at your door with a warrant, you probably got a lot bigger issues than possession under an ounce.

I hope the marijuana laws are crumbling down now, and this second "Prohibition" is over. Legalize it, tax it, apply a chunk of it towards the growing deficit.

I couldn't agree more. Marijuana it's dangerous because it's illegal, not the other way around. It's time we stop working with the same mindset from 40 years ago. Have hope. Have dope. You'll cope.

Ha, I was about to say... Now Boulder's streets will be filled with smoke. And Focus on the Family has a new crusade.

Last night, I posted "OK, Colorado stoners, I legalized your pot. Now legalize my relationship."

A step towards greater personal liberty and a blow to drug lords and criminals.
