So I was taking this gay type quiz, and there are a lot of types. Pups,Otter,Twink,Muscle Pups,Cubs,Muscle Cub,Wolf,Gym Bunny,Chub,Gym Rat,Bears,Daddies,Muscle Bears,Bull Can anybody explain their differences ?
don't get too involved in gay "types". Gay people come in all shapes, sizes, and groups. I mean me and most of my gay friends are like the "whats up bro!" types, like you wouldn't suspect we were gay at all. So you know what gay type you are? Yourself. ---------- Post added 14th Nov 2012 at 11:59 PM ---------- Otter is a hairy and skinny guy xD
Thanks man. But I am not caught up with gay types. I am no fan of stereotypes. Like you, don't look gay at all. I just took the test out of sheer boredom, and the results just made me curious because I haven't heard those things before.
Bull: I'm pretty sure is an 'extra butch' lesbian. Twink: a young gay guy with little/no hair, little bodyfat, and little muscle definition. Bear: a gay guy that is hairy and 'stocky', and typically only refers to more mature guys, i.e. 35+ years old. A muscle bear is a bear with high muscle definition. Cub: a pre-bear. Either too young to be called a proper bear, or not big enough. Otter: like a cub, but skinnier. Sometimes used to describe a twink with body hair. Wolf: I think it is a older man that is sort of rugged looking (beard stubble and so on) but isn't big enough to be a bear. Not sure. Pup: ?? (maybe a young Wolf?) Gym bunny/gym rat: someone who spends a lot of time working out. Usually refers to highly groomed guys only - if they had body hair they would be a muscle bear. Chub: someone who is bigger; bodyfat rather than muscle. 'Chubby'.
One of the latest "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" episodes had another discussion of gay types where Dee was explaining to Frank her understanding of what yestergays, otters, twunks, and twanks were. An episode in one of their earlier seasons discussed twinks, bears, power tops, and power bottoms. Fucking hilarious! I looked for those clips on Youtube, but couldn't find them...otherwise I would've posted those. Apparently a "twunk" is a twink with muscle definition and a "twank" is a skanky twink. Seriously, there must be some gay people with a lot of free time to come up with this stupid/silly terminology.
yeaahhh twinks and otters ftw! ---------- Post added 18th Nov 2012 at 02:06 AM ---------- and i like the "twunk" as defined above. That is so me.
I agree with Ethan. Some of them are even offensive and would definitely not apply to every single person of that specific body type.
I took one of these quizzes. Scored as "straight acting" and it was right on the money (although that is very general). That's funny, "otter". My best friend would qualify big time! Now only if he were gay...
