Okay so i've left my coursework to the last minute.... a WHOLE story to write for friday which is basically a day away (woo). The subject is 'Urban myth, a story with a twist' You can write about anything you want, aslong as it has a twist. I'm having writers block and can't think of anything... However, give me a basic idea and i can whip up a story in no time... So please help =[ I need an idea for a urban myth or a story with a twist or whatever! Pleeeasee!
There's always the old one about the guy who died in his Bentley and was there for 6 months the car smells but you can get it for $500.
urban myth: country people are yokels. twist: there's actually a secret utopia being run in the country, which none of the townies know about :lol:
that's been done many a time.. of mice and men, brokeback, etc And this utopia that Arneneithel talks about is likely to involve cider
do something like. . .a deaf person who is criticized and ridiculed for how he is, but the twist is he can hear people's thoughts. i did a story like that for creative writing.
They make it look like an accident but they are actually leeching oil from a near by oilwell. Hahah! ...and I thought this thread would be about calling the Captain Planet of gay..
How about a deaf girl who's only loving friends were her parents, her father being deaf as well, and they both died in a car accident. She goes to live with her godparents and after some story you make up, it turns out she only pretended to be deaf in order to honor her father;'s memory.

being deaf is no fun! i mean no TV no music? i know u have written ur story already but what about a school with a boy who was gay (searching for love)and he was killed by a group of other boys in the school's agricultral science area. now, since that event, every year on the anniversry of his death he comes back to kill the herbology teacher of that year; but one year when the school had gotten so shaken up about it that they were going to close it down the principal and the new herbology teacher goes to investigate the past murder. .......here, the twist....the death of the little gay boy was set up by his herbology teacher who he had a huge crush on yet he was homophobic and paid 4 other boys to kill him. tum tum tummmmm :lol:
