Interesting data that I just came across: "Target 10 has created an infographic on gays and lesbians that depicts something we all love—drinking, eating, and going out. This infographic compares gay men and women with their straight counterparts, offering insight into how this community differs socially and culturally from heterosexuals while illuminating the areas in which we are similar, from liquor selections to nightlife habits to cuisine preferences. Eat, drink, and be gay!" Culinary Connoisseurs: Gay Men & Lesbians No idea how reliable it is though.
What is this social life the infograph speak of? XD and I am concerned because the link doesn't say where they get their survey and sampling size...
Apparently it was collected by the Experian Simmons spring 2011 LGBT study. They seem to be a consumer research company that sells the data to advertisers: LGBT Research Survey | Experian Simmons
Well how much the survey stresses alcohol, clubs, parties is obviously exaggerated. Have the been to a college? Heterosexuals arent playing Yahtzee on Friday nights..... However, the idea that LGBT individuals "do more stuff" isnt pretty for off. Especially LGBT relationships, which on average have hobbies, traveling, date night outs, and sex than heterosexual relationships. But of course we are "sexual deviants that couldnt possibly be compatible." :/
Please straight people party just as much look my proof is the jersey shore tv show and every collage around the country.
Interesting.. I do love drink and food (only no beer for me), but I'm not entirely convinced without seeing a scientific article. : p
Hmm, I thought this was going to confirm I am, indeed, the most boring gay guy ever. Turns out that on the food and drink and going out front, I'm still on track. Compared to my friends (pretty much all straight guys and a few girls), I'm still positively a bore on all of those fronts, so I'm probably hanging out with a crowd that doesn't really showcase my gayness
