Yellow Belt in Karate!!

    I just earned my yellow belt in Shotokan Karate! I was so nervous when i got there. And now im a yellow and happy now!

    Congrats! Keep at it. My best friend just got her second brown belt. It's pretty epic. :slight_smile:

    haha my Dad used to teach shotokan karate when i was younger. I was kind of a happy go lucky pacifist then so i didn't really study under it. but I know it takes courage to do and courage to start earning your first few belts. so congratulations ^^

    Congrats!

    I was raised in Shotokan Karate. Unfortunately got an eating disorder before I could earn my black belt.

    I used to hate it when I was little, but my parents said I needed to learn to fight/defend myself. I gradually started liking it more and more as I got older.

    First step towards that black belt. Keep up the good work~ I'd definitely like to start some form of martial arts training myself, only my town doesnt have any place that teaches them and having to drive somewhere else would be too inconvenient.

    Years ago (when I was like 13ish), I made it to yellow belt in Kenpo karate...but then I got annoyed with my instructor and stopped going :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
