    I'm pretty into yuri manga and I watch some anime but I never felt knowledgeable or obsessive enough to consider myself an otaku. However, I did choose a fav lesbian manga character for my icon so uh. :rolle:

    I'm sorta into roleplay....depends on what. I love warhammer 40k, roleplaying on some chats, and a lot of other things. Cosplay? Not so much-- I did cosplay as pyramid head once! :slight_smile: Gona do it again whenever I can!

    I'm something of an otaku. I used to play JRPGs obsessively, and over the past couple months I've gotten into anime. I would love to cosplay as Homura or Sayaka from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and I have a slight crush on Saber from Fate/Zero.

    Oh, yes! I think I've finished about 150 different anime titles to date. xD I also love video games, I occasionally cosplay, I go to anime conventions, I read manga, I speak a little Japanese, I watch Asian dramas....yep, I think that qualifies me as an otaku. xD

    Dunno if I could say I'm full on Otaku but I've gotten pretty borderline obsessed with certian anime's in the past. Most notably Bleach (my gateway) Death Note and FMAB. I sort of disconnected from the world of japanese animation over the past year or so and my interests in it have just recently sparked up once again. Right now I'm waiting on weekly releases of Psycho Pass which seems to be a promising show so far. Anyone who's a fan of Fate/Zero and/or Puella Madoka might be interested in giving it a shot cause it's by the same creator of those 2 anime.

    The closest thing to cosplay I've ever done is take a picture of myself in my bathroom wearing a black leather jacket and orange sunglasses in a comical attempt to remotely resemble K' from King of Fighters. One of my friends has dressed up for conventions a few times though. He's got a Kariya matou outfit that he wears in public regularly without anybody realising that it's cosplay. lol

    Death Note is brilliant! I loved the Manga and the Anime, though not the live action so much with the exception of 'L Changed The World'! :thumbsup:

    I'm not one, which i suppose is a bit of a shame because i studied japanese for 11 years. I do enjoy some anime, but not a great deal.

    Just FYI, 'otaku' should be rendered in katakana just to clarify its intended meaning... so オタク instead of おたく

    I read buttloads and fanfics, watch a lot of anime, used to roleplay all the time, and currently am immersed in the cosplay world. So yeah, I guess I'd qualify xD
