My entire family is comprised of devoted Latter Day Saints(Mormons) and not a single one of them knows I'm gay. If there are any gay ex-Mormons present on this forum, I have a question for you. How did your parents respond to you coming out? Did they shun you, break down and cry, etc.? I had a hard enough time telling them that I wasn't going to continue being Mormon. Both of my parents burst into tears. I felt terrible. If I tell them I'm gay, I'm afraid it might just be too much for them to handle. If you could please share your experiences, I would be extremely grateful. Oh ya, one more thing. If there are any gay individuals present on this forum who are still practicing the Mormon faith, I would also love to hear about your experiences.
