In talking with a friend today, she told me she's going to a pottery workshop/class thing on Tuesday morning and invited me along. She's making mugs for a couple friends for Christmas, and I wouldn't mind tagging along... but I wouldn't know what to make. Nobody I can think of would want a mug. Anyways, does anyone have any experience with pottery for gifts? Ideas on what I could make? Thanks!
Well pencil/pen holders come in handy, as do receptacles for little odds and ends around the house. You could just superimposed decorative patterns onto a mug, maybe the pottery class might have some tips for doing that. They're very thoughtful gifts, and certainly pretty unique.
Everybody loves a big mug. It means that you can drink more! Well, as long as you can show effort on the mug, then do it. Make a personality-themed mug for each person that you plan to give them. I'm sure they'll enjoy that. And it doesn't even have to be mugs. It can be anything!
