Gay Characters!

    Something a little more light hearted! :grin:
    What are your favourite Gay characters from TV Shows?
    A lot of shows, most notably earlier shows used more stereotypical Homosexual Characters while now they're generally just incorporated into the show, but still being able to use it to give out a positive message.
    My personal favourites are Will from 'Will & Grace'. Mainly because it was the first TV Show that had a prominent Gay character. I actually watched this when I was younger, 12 I think, before School, even back then I looked out for Gay characters :lol:
    More recently, I would say Justin from 'Ugly Betty'. Apart from being cute! :eusa_danc
    I had watched the show since the beginning so to have a Gay character was like the cherry on top!
    EC! What are your favourite Gay characters and why?

    Edit: I know I might be missing obvious characters, but these are all shows that I actively watched.

    well for me It was a whole bunch of stereotype gay characters Queer As Folk. the young character was still in school ''Nathan'' 15 at the time and knew he was gay .The whole Series taught me allot made me realize am not so alone anymore . I bought the DVD second
    hand from a market stall was a brave move as I was myself still at school . I know it crossed over to the US and did just as well on HBO I think .

    Captain Jack Harkness from DOctor Who and Torchwood. The character is pansexual and kinda cute (although David Tennant- the 10th doctor is much cuter) and the actual actor is openly gay.

    My favorite character who is definitely gay is probably Sumi from Sasameki Koto. I also love the main characters of Wandering Son, three of whom are trans*.

    I have to give a shout out to Madoka, Homura, and Kyoko from Madoka Magica. They're not cannon, and it's left somewhat ambiguous as to what the exact nature of their feelings is. However, there's hardly a person who watches the show who doesn't see at least the first two as queer.

    Maxxie, Emily, Naomi, Sophia, and Alex from Skins. That show did an amazing job with its LGBT storylines. Emily and Naomi's love story brought me to tears.

    Actually did even better apparently than the UK version, no offence. But it did last four more years compared to the UK version. But the show was spectacular and as much as I hate to say it, I think we can agree it was a fairly fair telling of what it's like being gay.

    Loved Noah Mayer on As the World Turns, Luke was nice too but sometimes a little more gay than I liked. As for Dr. Reed Oliver...he was just so-so.

    And honestly I love Kurt from Glee. Though he was rather over effeminate in the first season, he's come a LONG way character development-wise.

    I really liked Hikaru and Kaouru from Ouran High School Host Club. Despite the "being twins" thing, they were really cute, more accurately "moe" XD

    I also thought Zane from Degrassi was really hot. Riley was the more important character of the pair, but he was a beefcake gay guy, and I'm more into the slim, feminine boys.
