Paying on dates

    Lol, I have a date on Friday...but my date doesn't have money, so I'm gonna pay for him.

    How does everyone else feel about paying for dates?

    Do you think you should have a certain amount of dates yet?

    I think it's the guys duty to pay for the date. But I guess it all really matters on who has the money in this case haha. Usually though I'm the one to pay for dates it's the gentlemen thing to do.
    (or we both pay but I'll pay for the App)

    ...How does it work with 2 guys though?
    I never really thought about being a gentlemen around another guy...
    Holding the door..
    Paying for dates..
    Drives home...
    Throwing the coat into the puddle so they can cross the puddle...

    i always thought that i wud pay for either half of the date or we pay for ourselves, i think its the fairest way and its what i will be doing in summer (paying for half that is)

    Phil we could sort it out then but imsure we cud go 1/3rds ea or if u dont have enuf cash them im sure tht i wud have enuf to pay for u aswell.

    im always well prepared and take too much of everything when i go out of the country, and this will be the first time alone (w/o family/friends) so ill have even more things!

    but...i don't even know how much they owe! it's like a couple dollars here and there...and sometimes like 10 or 20 bucks..

    Biisme on a serious note .Are these people taking advantage of you? Are you buying friendship ? Are you very wealthy?
    I"m thinking. Does paying for a guy on the first date sets a precedent.?

    no. they're not takining advantage of me...

    every now and then i get like a 20 or a 10 from someone and they go..."here's some money for all money you've lent me in the past few months...."

    i'm not very wealthy...but, i tutor and babysit...so i get like 60 bucks a week for about 5 hrs of work....
