So I got that speech as a training for debating classes in front of some seniors and I don't think I succeeded. I decided on a serious topic, so I could talk about something I knew and it ended up in a discussion about 'why do transgender people have to endurea therapy, when it's not an illness. Gays were diagnosted with a mental illness years ago and had to go through therapy. It changed. So why do they have to? I don't think it's an mental illness who has to be cured or treated.' I got some positive feedback from the mentor of the senior team, but most of them seemed to bebored.. Is it something a junior student shouldn't talk about?
I don't think so. I think it's something people of all ages should talk about. Well done you for having the confidence to do it! Also high five for being Q
