Anyone else chilling at home for new years?

    I decided fairly last minute to back out of all my plans for the night and just relax at home, drink a few beers and bring on the new year with a couple videogames. I think it sounds like a great time lol.

    Anyone else just relaxing at home tonight?

    Yup, just having a few drinks and watching tv. Thats all I ever do for new years, im not a massive party person

    I'm staying home as well. The roads are pretty bad here in Ohio right now. We had some more snow today. So, I'm staying home and watching tv to ring in the new year.

    I have no one to celebrate New Year's with, so naturally I'll be at home. I'll probably just be on Tumblr all night.

    yes, staying at home is what i (intentionally) do every new year's. i get to avoid the drunk drivers on the road and relax and recharge to start off the new year

    Ditto here. I'm at home by myself. I WISH I had someone to share this time with, but I don't. I'm writing (have four novels on the go) and watching a few DVDs.

    I wish you all a happy and healthy 2013 (the first year since 1987 to have four different numbers).

    It's more by circumstance than by choice (i.e. there aren't a whole lot of people around here I actually like hanging out with) but I'm pretty happy to be keeping my "celebration" low key. Just me on my laptop listening to post-metal and other ambient music.

    I've been spending New Years Eve at home with my husband. We cooked a nice meal, watched one of our favorite movie, and now we're on our way to bed. It was a very quiet evening indeed but it was nice.

    I could have gone with my brother to his friend's house to hang out for New Year's but didn't feel like it. So I'm studying some orgo, then watching some anime and/or Amazing Race later on :slight_smile:
