    So I have this thig I need to do for art and I needed a picture to show/symbolise a middle eastern/african city(I picked Dubai) and draw it =\ I have a picture but does it really show that its a middle eastern/african city? I mean its just sand....

    Oh and I don't really want one of that big tower thingy (Burj Dubai?) as its just a tall building and doesnt really have any sognificance

    I like the first cause it shows the development and the sand,
    but i recommend a camel sitting under a palm tree (the camel is the middle eastern signature animal ,and the palm is the middle eastern signature plant),i couldnt find that picture on google *cause iam lazy*

    The pyramids in the background really yell "Middle Eastern" to me but I have to admit that it's a really 1950s-ish clichéd "Middle Eastern."

    If you wanted to be thought-provoking, you could find a picture of bomb-devastated Baghdad and do that or perhaps the wall being erected in the West Bank. I guess the notion of the Middle East as incredibly war/strife-torn is nearly clichéd at this point too, sadly.

    I would take a look through photos at Flickr for some ideas.

    I'd have to say like others before me that the Burj Al Arab is probably the best choice for Dubai..its architecture and design are unique.
