Hi everyone, I hope you're all having a good day. So, I've written the very first chapter of my new novel. I don't want to write the title here as the search engines will link EC, and I'm so far in the closet I don't think I'll ever be able to find the door. It's only a couple of pages and written in the first person. It follows Victor, who wants to kill himself - so the first half is fairly depressing, but then someone stops him. It's a Vampire novel, and I'd love to know what you guys and gals think. I have a blog where the chapter can be found. It only says my pen name, and I can give a link to anyone interested in having a read. Please PM me and I'll confirm the blog address. Any feedback is good feedback! Thanks Dan

I think your desire for secrecy is a bit excessive. Do you really think people will be able to find out you frequent this site so easily if searching for your writing? Especially since if they don't think you're gay, even if they do see "empty closets" somewhere, they won't think much of it. That said, I want to read it.
Thanks for your reply. Yes, it may seem excessive, and I apologize for that, but I have to make sure any searchable keywords aren't linked back to EC. If people do see a link to EC, they WILL think a lot of it. Being one of 15 children with seriously strict religious parents, I'd have to move far away if they ever knew how I felt.
Well, I would love to read it too. ^-^ I am way to busy to write at the moment, myself, so I especially love reading the work of others now.
I'd really like your comments too. I've only written two chapters so far, but I have the whole story worked out in my tiny mind; just need to write it out.
Just a little 'bump to the top'. I applied for full membership quite a while ago now, but haven't heard anything. I hope it hasn't been missed.
It took me a couple of weeks to get membership. Remember that the admin guys have alot to do without looking at membership apps, i'm sure they'll get to you eventually

I'm not sure if i'm allowed to give the URL of my Blog on EC. I don't want anyone I know to Google the title and see a link to EC, but then again, perhaps it would be a good thing.
