I just wrote this quikly, it was inspired by heatqueen's 'Black and White' poem and then the one which followed later on that thread. And so God created Adam Adam was alone in Gods garden And so God created Eve Adam craved Eve Eve craved Adam The garden was complete The garden was not complete Adams no longer craved Eves Eves no longer craved Adams Adams craved for another Adam Eves craved for another Eve Adams began kissing Adams Eves began kissing Eves God was disappointed God couldn’t satisfy his creations God disappeared Man began to fight Eve craving Adams hunted Adam craving Adams Adam craving eves hunted Eve craving Eves God watched Man found God God greeted Man God spoke to Man Man listened to God God spoke one message Man heard many Man still hunted Man Man still killed Man Man claimed to know God Man lost God Many Man heard God Few Man listened God praised Peace Man craved War The Adam loving Adam The Eve loving Eve Heard God Listened to God Followed God They craved not War They craved Peace They craved Love Probably a bit soppy or wotever, I only spent about twenty minutes writting it. It's also a bit long normally I'd shorten it and edit it but I cant actually be bothered at home.
While you won't believe that such a thing is possibly a truth, I am competitively interpret poetry at contests an such. If this were published, I would consider using it with some other poems in competition.
