| Guest Posts: n/a |  Sky high, sidekick metaphor for gay I'm sitting down and the film Sky High is on in the background and I couldn't help but notice how when Will tells his farther he's a sidekick he reacted in much the same way my farther did when he told him I was gay. Do you think that somehow that sidekicks could be refering to the gay community trying to be accepted by the heroes or straight people? |

There's probably parrellels (I'm not sure; only seen bits of that movie) but it's a lot like the X-Men parrallels. Definitely there, but not really intentional. Still, you never know, I guess.
