How Old is Too Old

40? If I had to decide.

 

I know an old bird, and I mean OLD, who is still getting tattoos. She's got gray hair, serves cups of tea for her guests, has a small lap dog and must be in her late 70s or 80s.

And don't forget Dame Edna. Not as young as she used to be.

I think it comes down to this. When do you stop liking glitter on your nails?

 

This thread... rofl! It really depends on the amount of glitter we're talking about. If it's a light shimmer of glitter mix, then I would say there is no age limit. Now if we're talking big chunks of glitter... then age 15 is when that should stop.

 

For glittery nail polish!??! You are NEVER too old. In fact if I saw a 90 year old lady with it, I'd probably give her a wink hehe.

Well my mum is in her mid 60s and will wear it. To me it's how you feel about it...doesn't matter what others think. If you feel comfortable about wearing glittery nail varnish then do it! There's nothing wrong with some sparkle in your life..as they say "If it suits the wearer, bugger the starer!"

 

When you're dead. Thats when you're too old.

 

You're never too old to be who you are.

 

It really depends on what kind if polish you're using.

But who am I to tell you what not to wear? I'm simply stating an opinion. You do what you like. That's what matters.

 

I dunno. I guess I'm just used to associating glittery nail polish on young girls who don't know how to paint their nails (a lot of girls I knew in my past did a crappy paint job on their nails using glitter polish). I also knew this girl who used to chew it off of her nails. :eusa_sick But I guess I would have to see you in person to really judge how it looks. The first one, though... I don't think I could ever like that one. What's so weird about this whole thing is that I actually really like glittery stuff. XD

My partner is my age and she wore glitter polish on New Years Eve. It is like the third example in Anthemic's post.

 

My grandma wears glittery nail polish and she's 80! Her friends where it too. They all think it's really cool. I don't think you're ever to old to wear glittery nail polish.
