This is too funny! First, check out this bigoted and anti-gay marriage video made by the Iona Institute of Ireland. Now watch this hilarious spoof of it and laugh your --- off.
Lol. Wait, LOL. Although the first one was utterly pathetic. And anyway, even if their arguments weren't plainly bigoted and irrational and illogical, same sex child-making may be available some day. They've done it in mice already...
Wow, that was great! I really don't know what the people in the first video have been smoking, don't they realize how ridiculous that sounds?
My favourite part is the last line--"Paid for by someone in America who's never met you but knows what's best."
Wow. That first video has a big hole in its argument. "Every child has a mum and a dad." If that's the case, why care about gay people? Kids can have mums and dads just like you want them to, and gay people can be together without harming kids even if it WAS harmful! That parody was pretty good though.
Treating someone differently because they are different is discrimination, in fact thats more or less the definition of it. And while I don't deny same sex relationships are different - it doesn't take a genius to notice that there are two people of the same sex in them - that isn't a justification for treating them differently. Like, I have black hair and you have brown. You must be my slave.
We're all cake hating bullies. Shame on us. But really, can people get any dumber? Just because gay marriage means they can't MAKE children, doesn't mean they can't adopt one in need.
I love the part where the kids fall out of her dress in numbers! It is sad that too many people still think like that. I raised my sisters daughter the first five years of her life and I have always been her mommy. My sister and my ex shared the daddy role and she has turned out to be a perfectly normal child.
At least it's not like all the other commercials involving kids where they find some kid and make them look sad to guilt you into doing whatever they want. I hate those commercials. I've never actually seen any ovens in hospitals, but that's probably because I'm not a woman.
