So... in four hours and a half I'll be in college... math test on the first day and I know nothing, they didn't even give us the topics so we just have to know everything, therefore I'm nervous...

Plus that college doesn't look very nice and friendly. I WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE :frowning2:

Awww! I hope you do get out of there! Id hate to be in a situation like that... but maybe things will get better? Seems like they couldn't get any worse.

You could show up at the room wearing only that rainbow belt so that everyone got distracted and I could check out my derived functions table. LOL

Seriously speaking, yeah, Uruguay isn't exactly the nicest place in Earth if one's gay. I'll see. I'm doing my best effort to get out... college is my last resource. I don't want to have to wait for five years (then I'd have my degree) to be able to get out of here.

Well, I've thought about the US, UK, Canada and Australia in no particular order of preference. Just first-world and English-speaking because I don't feel like learning yet another language...

Good luck at college Fred. You are highly intelligent and I'm sure you will do just fine academically. I hope you find a social group that you can fit in to and who will love you as you are.

Good luck Fred! These first few days can be a little rough, but once you get into it, it's not going to be so bad!

okay I'm back... exhausted... it was a long day, especially because of that math test in which I didn't do that bad but their standards were soooooooooooo high that I'll have to take extra classes anyways. They start tomorrow.

I wore my pride wristband to college

You know, it would be cute on you. Especially if you wore it Swimmerboy style.

The 'first day' of anything is scary... there are few exceptions. And having a test of some kind on the first day isn't that unusual. It's a good way to set expectations about what you should know - a bit of a wake up call.

Good luck. I'm sure you'll manage just fine.
