    Hey, I finally came out to myself that i was gay...yes i can somehow have sex with men for years and still lie to myself...but no more...How do i get into the chat room so i can talk more actively with people? if i cant get into this chatroom on this site...please help me find another :slight_smile:

    you have to have 50 post to become a full member
    only full members are allowed in chat rooms

    Eric, many people here have conversations on their walls, or in threads, and that's a great way to communicate and get to know people.

    Also, keep in mind that it isn't just getting to 50 posts; you need to be a member for at least 2 weeks, and you have to have enough substance in your posts for the staff team to have some idea about who you are, so you should have a mix of substantive posts in different sections and such.

    Chip I understand...but when I first found this site I was looking for a gay friendly chat room...one that wasn't about sex (so many are)...I like chatrooms as they are just so much quicker, and I can make friends quicker who could help me make things clear in my mind. But I understand your system...Ill use the forum

    I think the forum can be a more personal level of communication. I've never gotten into chat rooms because I think they're too open, honestly. I'd rather have seven one-on-one conversations with people on my profile wall than seven in the same screen fighting to type faster than the other.

    Good luck getting to 50 posts! Just don't spam! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    well I guess I thought the chat room would be more personal....But oh well...Im enjoying the forum...seems pretty user friendly

    I strongly recommend that you stick around here. The people here are fantastic and have helped me a lot in the past. And it is SUCH a good feeling to know that most of them aren't looking for sex. I'm here to be somewhat social and to rant about problems I'm having... but trust me, you'll fit right in. And be sure to comment and help others too.
