ok so i saw some people on EC who are as young as 13 and say that they're trans and I'm just wondering how.
Because I know I am uncomfortable with my genitals, and my masculine appearance. No matter how young someone may be, they exhibit obvious signs of being transgender. I was exposed to the internet at a young age, and I figured it out pretty early. That means when I was 13...
Every time l see a thread directed at trans people l am somewhat expecting the poster to be flamed but l didn't think you would make it so easy.
I'm confused as well. If you're saying they're too young to know, well I knew I had these feelings since I could remember...sure I didn't know what trans meant till later in my life; but I still knew something was very wrong with my body. And I would always check off the "male" option in anything, whether it'd be signing up for something online or choosing a male character in a video game, starting at a very young age.
If he means that... no, not all people who are transgender are physically transsexual. Difference. Youngest person to get a sex change was Kim Petras at the age of 16.
People who are mentally transgender can realize who they are quickly then others, some show the earliest signs at five years old. I'm confused though as to whether they mean mentally or physically trans*.
I think it's pretty clear the OP means surgically. That's what I thought when I first joined, so stop hating on him. Just to clarify: Transgender≠Sexual Reassignment
Ok I was about 6yo when I found out I was in a male body. The moment mom explained it to me sticks in my mind and will forever. I identified with my mom and was playing with her cosmetics and got caught. I have always been 100% woman on the inside since birth.
