    Hey guys. Probably the weirdest tread ever but I thought sometimes people need a bit of cheering up. And I mean be honest what cheers people up more than Cupcakes/muffins??

    So Who else here eats the Cupcake/Muffin wrappers? :grin:

    As for the wrappers, no I don't eat them (or any other kind of paper).

    I think she meant eat the part that sticks to the wrapper, not the whole paper itself, lol. At least I hope that is what she meant. :eek:

    I don't. I remember a friend of mine telling me how good a piece of gum paper was. So I tried it and almost barfed. The chewing and the tiny pieces of paper breaking up in your mouth... :eusa_sick

    I'm bad about eating peanut shells, if that counts. >_>

    muffins don't have icing, so if the baker wants to make the muffin taste good, the baker has to put effort in the stuffing or the dough.

    cupcakes have icing. they can taste plain and use icing to make it taste good.

    Well, cupcakes are just small cakes and icing goes with that, but muffins are a bit different, more like a bread and frosting just doesn't really go with that as well. Plus cupcakes don't have as much flavor until you add icing like Ticklish Fish said.

    Yup, I do eat the part stuck to the wrapper but not the wrapper itself. If the muffin is very tasty,then I would get a spoon to scrape every bit off. Usually the fresh muffins that I get from Wegman's (I ❤ Blueberry!) are yummy :slight_smile:

    I find it funny when I do it in public and everyone just looks at me werid.. .-. There is nothing wrong with not letting a good tasting muffin/cupcake go to waste :wink:

    nope I dont eat the wrapper maybe lick out the inside of the wrapper does that count .
    IMO muffins are 100 times better than cupcakes . now I've started something:badgrin:
