I was talking to one of my friends about this, and what she said really irritated me:

"I'm totally okay with it if you end up being a lesbian, so are you going to be in one of those rainbow march things someday? Don't all the gays do it?"

The one I don't like is 'Does it mean you're attracted to me since you're gay?' No straight friend, it does not! Don't fucking flatter yourself! Do straight girls fancy all men in sight, no. Do you fancy every girl in sight, no!

That's my response even if they are attractive. I don't think I could every tell a good looking straight guy that he was attractive, just for the fear they would get the wrong idea.

 

My straight friends have huuuuuge egos, that I wouldn't want to boost any further. Even a gay guy telling my best friend he's good looking would flatter him!

What irritated me wasn't that, it was her sole attention on my possibility of being a lesbian. she didn't really say, "Well why do you feel this way?" or try to understand my confusion like I thought she would, since I rely heavily on her opinion most of the time, and it made me a little disappointed and irritated with her.
