i always check my spam folder before i empty it, because sometimes it contains nonspam. firstly, i read the statement below (boxed in red) and my immediate reaction was "why am i getting anti-lgbt spam?!?!?!?!"

i'm guessing it's really about viagra or something, but it also sounds like some kind of bigotry.

and wow the one above it is really irritating! i actually read it:
lol "muad'dib." some nerdy jerk is trying to start a conspiracy theory. awesome.

last time i posted about spam email it was all about sexy ladies wanting to meet me because they think i'm a hot guy. apparently i still get the usual drug adverts and love nonsense (christian mingle!), but now right-wing conspiracy theories written by trolls? who does this stuff? i'm kinda impressed by their dedication to spam.

All selling boner pills until proven otherwise, l say.

Spyware makes me laugh this same way though. Once one of those survey spyware ads popped up for me on a site l had no business being on :slight_smile:icon_redf) and it had what looked like the YouTube logo.

The old one, l think a black and white You and then the red Tube in the wonky rectangle.

So it looked like a legit YT survey. But it said:

    ThankYou

And it just made me lol forever.

lol spyware pop-ups are pretty funny when they're not obnoxiously in the way.

i get a lot of fake youtube spam that's trying to trick me into changing my email address or something. i am sure it's fake because when i did read it the letter was so poorly written and did not even try to look legit, haha. i'm pretty sure i remember reading at the end "signed, YouTube."
