So here I am, 3 hours later, about 1/3 in to writing up a lesson plan for an observation tomorrow and it is going nowhere. I manage about 3 words and alt+tab back to EC lol. Can't help it; much more entertaining then planning.

Anybody else have something similiar with using EC as an excuse not to work?

I'm supposed to be writing an essay on The Constitution, but obviously, that's not happening! EC is a kind of safe haven for me.

3rd night running and I'm even getting to the point where I'm going to blink and four hours will have passed and I'll have a combination of bed sores, squinty eyes, cricked neck and a nice shiny trail of saliva.....then I'll log off, roll into bed for those last couple of hours and panic the next day. Ahhhh what a deliciously seductive tonic EC is :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

  6. YES. I'll spend hours here and get nothing done.

Lol, I do the same thing. Whenever I'm on here, I'm usually on a few other forums as well as twitter, tumblr and youtube and I'm so distracted by everything I just procrastinate getting anything done. I don't even know how to go about stopping.

EC made my breaks at work (back when I was working) go by much faster. I'd always check it and post using my smartphone. I'd occasionally check it if work was slow and I had no customers, but I can't really say it provided a full-fledged work distraction.

Ye it's definately something to look forward to during work but I should just disconnect the internet at home when I'm trying to work :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
