I'm just wondering how many people have heard of the word ambisexual? Any thoughts on the term?

Asexuality is an indiscriminate orientation, but that's because one is not attracted to anyone. I think this is a variation on bi/pan/omnisexual.

I had a friend who classified himself (he was female to male transgender) as ambisexual. I miss him, as he moved out of state.

An ambisexual told me that she considered herself bisexual but she used the term ambisexual to be more specific. I'm not saying that she represents all ambisexuals but her reasoning is something to consider

    That would make sense.
It's a little sad though. Gay and straight people don't have these little subsets. It's like Bisexuals (And other non-Monosexuals) have to be as specific as possible, or be accused of Binarism.
