Good and bad things happen to everyone, but not because of what they do. It's all just random. That's what I believe, anyway.

The westernized "if you do good things then good things happen and if you do bad things then bad things happen" karma? I don't believe in karma at all.

No offense to anyone but I always saw that definition of karma as a manifestation of the just world fallacy

  7. Yes. You do something bad, the world will return the favor.

If karma exists I should dread the future.

Nah, I'm actually a pretty decent person, the world won't come after me. But I don't believe karma exists.

I think its up there with astrology in levels of nonsense.

I'm indifferent because karma isn't scientific and it's virtually nonsense but at the same time I've seen some real shit happen to those who've done wrong before and it came back to bite them in the ass. Or it just might be coincidence. I'll just say coincidence.

I believe that we all see what we want to see. So if someone does something bad, eventually something bad will happen to them because that's the statistics, but we ignore the good things that happen to the because they're inconsequential. But I do not believe in any force that guides us, or punishes the bad and rewards the good.

I believe in the traditional belief in karma, not the modern one. There's too much evidence to the contrary in our world. Rich people often get rich off of the pain and suffering of others.

I do believe in it, but I think it can slow at times. So, I have to get payback on my own. I have little patience for justice.

If karma was true, then I must do a lot of bad things to people...

I don't believe in it. I just think that some people are lucky and others are not. Or some people make good decisions and other's don't. I don't think that it has anything to do with karma.

I voted yes, but only because it is a better incentive than heaven/hell in my view. it is a conciouse awareness that your actions have consequences, and that you should act well, not selfishly.

My brain wants to say "no, it's bullshit", but then my gut feeling also wants to say "no, it's bullshit".

I'm a strong believer in karma. Usually when I do good things and think positive, good things happen to me, and vise versa. I have to believe in something, don't I?

I kind of do. I know that its a little rubbish to think that there is a natural force that purposely balances everything out, but as someone who works with averages quite a lot i do believe that things must eventually balance (unless its something thats been completely horrific).

Like, last week i was having bad luck. My phone broke, i lost, i was generally feeling miserable and i fell out with my a good friend, but then all of a sudden i got some very good news (not gonna tell you guys what though  ) that was the headline of the week.

That being said, it it stupid, many people have the worst luck but nothing improves...

No, I don't believe in Karma. Bad things generally happen to bad people because they get themselves into that situation. Not because there's some mysterious force going "you're a bad person, here's some shit".

Though I will concede that coincidence can make it APPEAR like there is karma, like you say flyalone, the timing of what has happened to these people may be very convenient.
