  1. Regarding the syrup brand... which do you prefer, Aunt Jemima, or Mrs. Butterworth? As for me, Aunt Jemima all the way!

  4. Mrs. Butterworth I guess. Maybe we could make an Aunt Butterworth, that would be good, most good, yes, yes, very good.

I like them both, but I'm gonna have to say Mrs. Butterworth. It seems to have a more thick consistency and has more of a buttery taste.

*Edit* I like Mrs. Butterworth more with pancakes, and I like Aunt Jemima more with waffles and French toast, but I like pancakes more, so yeah.

Scratch is always better, but I can't remember ever using Mrs. Butterworth so Aunt Jemima wins by default I s'pose.

Edit: OH SYRUP BRAND my mistake. I prefer real maple syrup.

I'm a snob when it comes to syrup, actual maple or birch syrup only. All others need not apply.

No real preference here, but I think my mom usually bought Aunt Jemima when I was growing up.

Aunt Jemima sounds just my sort of woman, so I'll assume her syrup must be pretty good.

When it comes to syrup, I always use pure dark amber maple syrup, but my mom makes pancakes using Aunt Jemima pancake mix.

Definitely Butterworth, has a totally different flavor that I prefer.

But of course I haven't had either in years, very rarely do I eat anything that uses syrup, I hardly ever eat breakfast at all.

Ditto. If I'm going to enjoy pancakes and I have a choice about what kind of syrup goes on them, you can bet it's not going to be that fake stuff. Grade-A dark amber all the way!

I usually buy Ohio maple syrup. It's tasty and I'm helping the local economy.

I actually don't like syrup... But when I was growing up, my family always got Mrs. Butterworth, so I guess that must be good.
