So I watched the movie "Shelter," which many of you may have seen, and really enjoyed it. I've also seen other ones that I forgot the names of but they were very stereotypical and not well-acted, so do any of you know movies like Shelter? There is also another well-acted one called "Weekend" which I enjoyed, so if you've seen that, please suggest other movies similar to it. Thanks
Sherlock Holmes Snickers... It is my new pet ship, lol But okay, so it`s strictly not a gay movie because of lack of proof that Sherlock is on the sly side. However, the actor who plays him thinks he is
"Make the Yuletide Gay" "You should meet my son" "Brokeback Mountain" "The Birdcage" "The Adventures of Pricilla: Queen of the Desert"
One movie I know of that is gay themed and older is called Torch Song Trilogy and stars Matthew Broderick In the USA it is rated R and there is no graphic sex scenes in it.
I found some good ones reading through this thread: http://emptyclosets.com/forum/entertainment-media/57360-lgbt-movies.html Prayers for Bobby is my favorite cause it was so emotional.
I watched Prayers for Bobby up to point where he committed suicide then I just started crying and turned it off. I'm not good with suicides; it's sort of my weak point. I did watch Shelter, though. Loved it Oh and Latter Days was good, too.
The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love I'm not sure what to say about it, but it's a lesbian movie. I saw it twice, so....can't be that bad lol.
Shelter is my favourite at the moment... I watched a few others but their names didn't stick, probably because they sucked big time! "A beautiful thing" is pretty good too... It's British so not you typical American cinematic style.
I need to get a hold of a few of these movies! Gah. Way too long until Sherlock season 3 starts. I am seriously feeling the abstinences
