I thought I would share a church that I’ve found. I’ve noticed a lot of people that come here like me; struggle with reconciling their faith so I thought I would share what has helped me. They post their sermons each week on YouTube. It’s actually a church in my VERY conservative hometown of Springfield, MO. I watch online but haven’t worked up the nerve to attend yet. I found them while searching gay affirming churches. The first sermon I watched had me in tears. It was the Sunday after the whole chick-fil-a fiasco and while most pastors were praising them this one was out protesting them. They take a very academic approach to the bible, and fight hard for social justice. They have a facebook page under The Emerging Church. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post the link here?
