It is "bridge" as Brett pointed out. That is I-87 or the Major Deegan Expressway. The Madison Avenue Bridge connects the area to Manhattan. The exit is also an exit for the South Bronx, the Bronx County Courthouse, one of the City University of New York campuses, and an alternative route to Yankee Stadium. |
