I hope this isn't already a thread. But how do you feel about coming out? I'm glad I did, but sometimes I really wish I hadn't .

I'm soooo happy I did it! It's way more freeing and healthy, I don't have to hide who I am anymore. I can talk proudly about my girlfriend and not care what other people think. ... Now if only I had accepted it earlier than 26. Life would have been a million times better.

I'm glad I did and don't regret it at all. I couldn't imagine trying to live/act out a straight life.

I'm not fully out, only to 3 close friends and my family, but I'm glad I've told them.

I'm glad that I came out. Coming out didn't go as I had planned, but hey, at least I finally made it out of the closet..

    REGRET
I do regret some parts of coming out because I dont feel I was ready but I did something stupid I got drunk at 16 and told my step sister I liked guys anyway cutting a long story short she told some friends who knew my friends so soon most friends know leaving me no option but tell Mum&Dad myself I had a shitty time after that only a few months .

    GLAD
Well Mum&Dad took the news better than expected in fact we have only had a handful of chats about it. Am glad I was pushed a bit because I admit I was terrified how everyone would treat me and Family has been brilliant I was put intouch with a guy Tony he more or less took me under his wing answered awkward questions and believe me there was quite a few . am glad am gay am fucking proud to be gay .

I've never really came out to anyone .... my friends actually just found out through Facebook (as I had my interested in as "women"), and then asked me about it. Then the couple other people who know were from word of mouth. It's no big deal, and not something that I'm like, "Oh god, I wish they didn't know.", because they're fine with it.

I'm not really sure if it'll be a glad or regret when I come out to my family. I guess we'll find out, someday.

Not certain. I guess there's a lot less stress being out than still being in the closet...buuut my family acts like I never came out in the first place and it drives me nuts.

I have only one regret: that it took me so damn long to come out. Partly because I just didn't know, partly because I used to think "/care it's not important for people to know". I'm glad I did though, life is so much easier once you don't have to hide everything anymore.

I'm really glad that I came out, it's a little awkward at times but I feel so much happier and free after doing it.

I feel no regrets after coming out. I feel like I can be honest with people now.

I don't regret coming out at all. Ever since I did, I felt like I could be myself. The world is a freer place when you're out.
