February break seems to be more of an Northeast Coast type thing. Unfortunately for almost everyone in my area there is no February break this year because of all the days the schools used during the hurricane. My mom is EXTREMELY unhappy about this because she's a teacher and contrary to popular belief, she LOVES weekends and vacations as much (if not more) than the students do lol.

I've never heard of February break. I wish that we had one though. My birthday is Feb. 20th, so it would be nice if we had a Feb. break.

    I'd like a February break...

But really, I shouldn't be complaining since my spring break is less than a month away.

Back when I was in high school, instead of giving us some random Mondays off they just gave us a week off. It replaced President's Day and some other federal holidays. I forget which but they weren't all in Feb. I went to high school in California

Ugh, lucky! I was *this* close to doing the exact same thing. I had my passport and luggage ready, but then I had to change my plans. *sigh*

I just arrived, there's SO MUCH SNOW. It's great. And parasitizing on someone's free wifi makes it even better, heheh.

I'm in a village about 40km from Kitzbuhel (I think that's a pretty well known town?)

I wish I had a February break. If I did I wouldn't travel most likely, I'd just stay home and sleep.

Staying home. Profs gave us assignments due during the week, assignments due right after the week, and midterms when we get back.

It'll still be a busy week, just at home instead of at school.
