I watched it a few days ago and I couldn't stop crying. Sadly, I can't put the link here but if you guys ever feel like it, type prayers for bobby in YouTube and it's really an amazing movie. Very emotional. I was bawling.

I cried like a baby when I watched it a year ago. Don't remind me. *sniffle*

  3. lol yeah SO many people on EC have watched it.

and yeah it was pretty amazing. everything felt so natural (except for that one scene where Bobby's brother runs out to the football field... i kind of got goosebumps cause of how awkward and shakey the camera was tbh lool) in the movie.

i especially loved the way they depicted Bobby's progression throughout the film. although he managed to find love and a good life, the main focus was still geared towards his struggle after subtle influences from his mom were always mentioned. LOVED IT!

It's a great film, one that's been discussed quite a few times. Lots of interesting comments and discussions in the archive if you search.

I strongly recommend it to just about anyone coming out when there's any religious baggage involved.

Someone was just telling me to watch it a few days ago. I just pulled up the trailer on YouTube, and it looks like a great movie, so I might have to watch it this weekend.

i watched it and it made me sad, cry and a bit depressed as it reminded me of how i felt after first coming out, though it wasnt quite as bad for me i still felt his pain.

I want to see it, but I struggle so with highly emotional films, which is why I hate drama`s. Either they`re boring, or they make me cry. It`s always either or! Though, Disney movies make me cry as well, so I guess I am just the emotional type.

    But I will watch it...
