Domestic Partnership Ban has been DEFEATED!! A key victory and upwards of 35 endorsed Senators, Governors and District Representatives have won their campaign, only 9 have been defeated. Marriage bans however have passed in every state they have been optioned. One incredible loss in our efforts was the loss of Lincoln Chafee, an open supporter of equality marriage, who lost to Sheldon Whitehouse. Sad as it is, we have to remember our victory isn't going to happen all in one run, if only it were that easy. One thing you can do to help us get better results next time around? Volunteer. Get Active. Win over the votes of your friends and people around you to work in our favour. I now leave you with several states that have won every goal the HRC had previously laid out: Indiana Iowa Kansas Maine Maryland Massachusetts Michigan New Hampshire New York Oregan Vermont Many states are still undecided and most loses are not by much.
