It can have a positive effect as it brings homosexuality into the spotlight and that, fame or otherwise, anybody could be gay. If celebs are open about being gay, then it's a good thing for us "unfamous" lot. (Don't take that the wrong way.) |

But back to your question, many males see gay men as a threat to their sexuality, cuz most breeders still believe the myth that ppl choose to be gay. And many employers think that having a gay employee will reflect badly on their company. And ALOT of people find sexuality immoral because it says ONE TIME in the Bible that being gay is bad. Plus most people are just scared by the unknown, so you just gotta learn to live with it for now.

It is a very immature thing that people do and it does piss me off when people stereotype like that. Homophobics are the kind of people who are confused about their own lives and insecure. They are jealous and rude because it makes themselves feel normal. Gays shouldn't have to be treated the way they are nowadays. Not just gays but anyone for that matter. Some people just need to grow up. I really do have a huge problem with those types of people but I am learning to ignore it. It's not easy but it needs to be done if you want to keep your sanity! lol.   |
