How old were you when you realized you are gay?

Seventeen. Either I was too arrogant or too ignorant to see myself for who I was. That's why it took so long to figure out, even when, looking back, it was kinda obvious that I wasn't heterosexual.

 

I always knew I was gay, I remember when i was in 2nd grade, I thought to myself that i really wanted to marry my best friend at the time and i didn't know then that that was gay, but i started to accept myself as gay when i was 10

 

First started vaguely contemplating the idea around age 18. Got some conclusive proof at age 20. Pretty much accepted it at age 21.

I knew that I liked girls my whole life, but I never once put two and two together and realized I'm gay until I was like 14. And then I was like OH, DUH.

 

I would say 9 for real, 4 in retrospect.

 

I'd say 14 or so though I didn't really accept it around 18 or 19

 

Since grade 1 I've always been attracted to other males

As far back as I can remember, honestly. I remember even in elementary school, me and my best friend would flirt with each other like crazy (when I look back on it, it was flirting, at the time we were just being "boys")

I left the school in 5th grade though and never went back. I still wonder if he is gay too.

 

Kindergarten, so maybe 4 or 5 years of age? I always knew I liked boys, but didn't realize what it was until I reached adolescence.

 

I was 14. I never really thought about being this way until I was 13 and thinking to myself, "Why do I keep daydreaming about girls?" I didn't accept it until I was 14.

 

Started questioning when I was in sixth grade, or when I was eleven. At that time I had thoughts of being transgender or trying to become a boy, etc.

In seventh grade- or when I was twelve- I got a huge crush on a girl and realized I didn't want to be a male.

I finally accepted that I was gay when I was thirteen.

 

I was six and in love with my best friend Paul. We wanted to get married. Spent the next eleven years trying to seduce my guy friends, came out when I was seventeen.

 

I was in year 7

 

28. But as far back as 11 there were pretty big hints that are smack in the face clear now.

 

I've always known I was bisexual in the sense that I considered both genders attractive, but I never seriously considered my homosexual feelings (never crushed on a guy) until my last (and first real) crush. Meeting him made me realize what being in love really was, and firmly established that I'm mostly homoromantic. So I was 17 when I finally figured out my sexuality.
