The Harlem Shake?

The REAL Harlem Shake was a dance move back in the 80's. What people are doing now is NOT the Harlem Shake. It looks like some kind of skanky seizure.

 

I saw a few of my subscriptions post those... I never bothered to watch. :lol:

A friend at school told me about the Harlem Shake, and when I said I already knew he asked me if I thought it was funny. I was like...sure?

And then he showed me the video and I was like "That is NOT the Harlem Shake. Those are shirtless guys humping various surfaces in ridiculous clothes." and they looked at me like I was crazy. Hmph.

It's kinda funny. I guess.

 

Ye people have been calling it the new Gangnam Style...but its just a random clip of loads of people spazzing out to some music.

My best friend was trying to explain the Harlem Shake to me. She said that "apparently, these guys in Norway humped various landmarks...." and then she described the actual dance, which she said was "these people basically shaking from the waist up." I thought it sounded like a seizure.

People are about as creative as a piece of white paper. Like, with gangnam style - it's the Pony! It's totally a rip off.... but everyone just "loves" it.

 

Ehm, what? People in Norway did that?? Great :bang: It`s bad enough when people from other countries start ridiculous phenomena that everybody keeps referring too, but knowing that my fellow Norwegians now started a new one, to take over for that irritating Gangnam style thing, it`s infuriating!

*sigh* it's alright, at least gangnam style is fading out of the picture some....

 

its just this video trend that started with the harlem shake song. There's a lot of people annoyed and hating on it but I just think its entertaining haha

 

I think I was born into the wrong species because I don't get these at all.

Gangnam style was bearable - this is not.

 

There's not much to get. Watch the ones done by colleges/universities and ogle at some attractive guys taking their clothes off.

 

I'm pretty sure there are rules against saying things like that and not giving a link.

Admittedly, the guy at the front is the only guy who's really not wearing a shirt in this one. But I have watched this one a fair few times just to watch him... :rolle:
