You seem to think he means categories for the forum to be divided into for posting topics. He could mean that. He could also mean sexual orientation and gender identity categories, which is my best guess. Potentially, he could mean almost anything at all, which is why I still don't know what he means. Categories for what?
Hi Omla I am new to EC and have read many of the threads in the existing categories. I am confident now that I am a 99% gay guy. One of the things I like about this site as it is now is the variety of opinions from people of all sexualities and ages. I, for example, thought initially that as a 53 year old that I would not be interested in the posts from teenagers …. How wrong I was, in coming out later in life I feel just like a teenager again so there posts are both valid and helpfull. If the site was split into say gay men / lesbian women, just for example, whilst it may be easier to find what you were looking for I think there could be a temptation to only read and comment on the section that most applies to the sexuality of the reader and the reader would then miss out on very valid points of view from others of all ages and sexualities.
