Tamagotchis! :D

My friend gave a tamagotchi connection toy as a x-mas presents since he has lots of them, and I haven't taken my eyes off of it... Anyone who had a tamagotchi before?

 

I had a Giga Pet kitten back in middle school. Holy crap that makes me feel old! *lol*

 

Yes I did when I was about 6 or 7! And I also got a Digimon version (which was a bit cooler because it was more obvious what it was going to grow up to) when I was 10 or so.

They are probably muuuch better now than they were then; all you could do with mine was feed it, pet it, and flush away the piles of crap it left everywhere.

 

I had one ages ago back when I was in first grade.

 

This was by far my most favorite toy I had as a kid! I remember when I had one that used to beep at 3AM while it was a baby. I didn't mind to wake up and feed it,then go back to sleep... ah good times!

 

I had a few when I was in primary school. I had to make my mum take care of it while I was in school, or I'd bring it with me. That is, until they were banned. ;__;

I had the pikachu tamagotchi, and a cat one, I think.

 

I had one when I was younger. Long story short, they didn't live long.

 

I remember these! So much fun.

There used to be a free tamagotchi app, but now you have to pay. :dry:

 

I had one a long time ago. I even had a Rugrats themed one.
When you neglected them, instead of dying they would go to a treehouse or something, which saved me from having to live with the regret of killing virtual children.

 

i had one when i was like 8 maybe? and they were banned at school so my mum took it to work and fed it for me and everything, but then it died one day cuz she didnt feed it, i was gutted when i came home from school lol

 

I always wanted one when I was a kid

 

i miss mine, it was epic i got it up to its 22nd life

 

They should make a lot of people get one early in life, just to lessen the amount of teen pregnancies.

 

I had one and I didn't get pregnant when I was a teenager, so it must work.

 

I loved them. I swear I've had like... 10 of them. If anyone has one you could give me, idk... JUST A THOUGHT. You'd be a doll if you gave me this. I love them >< i'd have sex with a boy to have one again hahahah

 

I had one when I was eight or nine, I would keep losing it though and whenever I found it, it would be dead.

Although, I remember playing it so much because I kept trying to get a Mametchi cause I thought it was so cute.

 

I had Tamagotchis and Gig Pets. I loved them both to pieces. And I want to have more. :3

 

Since you are 14, you may or may not know it, but Tamagotchis were very popular in the '90s. I never had one, but when the Pokemon craze caught on in the early '00s and got EVERYONE my age obsessed with every Pokemon-themed product on the market, I had some kind of Tamagotchi-like Pikachu game. I didn't think that kids today still played with them, though, considering that there are so many high-tech handheld video games and such. That's kind of cool. This nostalgia is making me feel very old, though, and I am only 21. Lol.
