Its like all the radio stations suddenly stopped playing the song all at once.

This is just how trends work. They're popular for a while and eventually they lose their novelty to most people then they get replaced by other, equally stupid shit. See: harlem shake.

Yeah it pretty much died out, lol. Thankfully. Now if Harlem shake would... >.> I don't get the "trends" today, like wow.
    - People saying "word"
    - harlem shake
    - gangnam style
    - YOLO
    - Swag?
Like no, just no. I don't want to live on this planet anymore. :3

How ironic. You express a distaste for trends yet you conclude by reciting a meme.

It's gone - next week, it will be "The Dime Store Disco" and then it will be "The Willy Wally Wacky Dance" the week after.

I'm sick of these fads. :frowning2:

Honestly though, I think once you've hit 1 billion youtube hits, you've had your fun.

? what are you talking about? I only dislike trends that make no sense, like really? how does yolo and swag make sense? or the harlem shake?

No trends make sense. Memes are trends. If you didn't already know, "I don't want to live on this planet anymore" is a meme that quotes Professor Farnsworth in the show Futurama. If you think that makes sense, however, you should understand my confusion as the post I responded to said " I don't get the 'trends'" not " I don't get the trends that don't make sense."

Thank God it died out. I like the Harlem Shake much more, for at least the next 24 hours. It's getting old, though.

I haven't actually seen or heard the full video/song of Gangnam Style. All I've seen is the small portions that got played a few times in the 'quirky' news segments on TV.

    Do I get a medal.

I did know it was from Futurama, I love that show always have. I should have worded what I said better but you don't need to be rude either.

No need for sensitivity. Think before you post next time, lest someone point out an ironic truth.

I personally still like listening to Gangnam Style. It still cracks me up every single time I watch it there is something about it that I like and that keeps me coming back.

I remember once hearing about the Adele Constant; Adele must be playing on at least one radio station at a given time. Of course, it is still a theory as it has not been proven. I thought it was relevant... somewhat.

Everything that is "fab" or "popular" at one point eventually dies out, to be replaced by something new. It's happened many times before.
