Bacon Potato Chips

    I like BBQ flavored potato chips and it just occured to me, I've never seen bacon flavored potato chips. I really want some. I googled it and I found they are available in Canada among other places, but not much in the US. I'm talking about traditional potato chips, not the Tato skins type.

    Anyone ever had them? If so how are they? I want me some bacon chips :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    By potato chips, I assume you mean what we would call crisps. You can get bacon flavered crisps over here, it's one of the staple flavers, they tend to be called smokey bacon. Walkers are the best. You can also get bacon fries and frazzles as well, they are also nice. I'm a bit of a fan of smokey bacon walkers crisps :slight_smile:

    Dunno about potato chips, but Dollar General sells cheddar bacon pita chips, and they're super-dee-duper.

    I was eating some bacon chips last night thinking MAPLE bacon would be an awesome flavor. Oh so Canadian...

    I wish that this was a flavor. I know that they did just did put out chicken and waffels flavored chips. I sadly have not had the chance to try them yet.

    Oh so much bacony goodness going on around the world. Yep, I'm thinking of crisps, salty, crunchy, potato and bacon, mmmm. While searching I found Walkers and Lay's which are part of the same company, but Lay's doesn't seem to sell the Smoky Bacon in the US.

    unbreakable, YES, Maple and Bacon would be ridiculously good! I like Canada more and more all the time :icon_bigg I'd even like to kick it up a notch with a dash of sriracha flavor.

    I made some bacon in the oven today which is what got me thinking about this. When about half-way cooked, I sprinkled some black pepper, chipotle powder and brown sugar on the strips and then finished baking them until crispy. They were sooo good. :thumbsup:

    If you've had both BBQ and Bacon flavor, which do you like better?

    lays has a blt chip.

    oh, and kettle brands chips just came out with maple bacon flavor. havent seen it in stores yet.

    SUPER GOOD :grin: For the bacon one's I've had some in Victoria, Canada and they were alright, I think chicken waffles taste better tho.

    Sour cream and Bacon are one of my favorite chip types. I have tried maple bacon chips as well and they were really underwhelming.

    You lucky Canadians with all the bacon flavors. You even get a bacon named after you. All we get is a flimsy processed cheese product. :icon_wink

    i still can't comprehend why people are obsessed with bacon. i mean, i like it? but it's not FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ....anyway.

    I have bacon flavored microwave popcorn, but been too nervious to try them.

    I am waiting for kettlechips to release their maple bacon chips already; turns out they were for summer.
