I'm not really up-to-date with American politics, so could someone please tell me why "Gay Republicans" are sort of scorned?

BTW, I'm not trying to insult anyone here.

Hildebeast is a PC fascist and goes against everything I stand for as a Libertarian.

Obama on the other hand does seem to be on the up and up. If I were American I would almost certainly vote for him.

If Nader was up there, I would vote for him in this poll. Ya know, I ain't interested in this year's election. I voted in the 2004 election and I voted for Kerry. I am 99.9% sure that I'm not going to vote in this year's election.

With all the bitching between the Hillary and Obama camps, I'd almost be tempted to vote for McCain if I was American.

As it is, probably Obama. A great deal of people vote for Hillary because they think they're gonna get Bill Clinton back. Now, this could go one of two ways. Either he's gonna wander around and shake hands while Hillary does all the thinking. This would mean those guys aren't getting what they wanted when they were voting. Or, Bill could end up as the unofficial president, in which case so much for the foremost democracy, if it goes George Bush, Bill Clinton, George Bush, Bill Clinton.

... and still for the life of me i will never understand gay republicans?
if someone wouldnt mind explaining that'd be great.

Yeah I know. The Republicans screwed us up over the last 8 years. Democrats need to take over the White House this year, which I think they will. Go Hillary! (!)

I support Obama, because the truth is that Hillary just wouldn't stand a chance. She's unlikable, uncharismatic, and just not fun to listen to. Plus. she's a woman, and the fact that she's in politics means that half of the country demonizes her. Obama is the safer bet.

Yea... and a terrorist that the US was after was Hussain, which is Obama's middle name. He is also from middle eastern descent. Which I normally don't touch, but it's to make a point. How would people feel any safer with him being in office then with a woman? -.-

Right because people would feel so unsafe because of someone's name... Pretty sure it's public knowledge what his middle name is.
