Whenever you go out to the club do you need a couple of drinks to loosen up?

I always do if I am out & about in Clubs & Pubs

 

Yeah i feel a lot more relaxed after one or two drinks, and definitely need one or two more to let loose and have a dance

I would need so much alcohol to feel comfortable in a club I wouldn't know where I was anyway.

 

I usually have a couple drinks before I go to clubs, I hardly ever drink so that's usually all I need lol.

 

I usually drink one or two before I go and it depends on who i'm with such as if i'm surrounded by people i know i wont drink that much but if i'm with a group where i only know a few people i tend to drink alot more so i feel more comfortable.

 

I think this is why I tend to have bad bar and club experiences. I feel like I do need a drink to loosen up, but I dont drink often and im a total light weight, so I end up either passing out early at the bar or just getting embarrassed by my drunk self. I rarely have the right mix of self control and wanting to party.

 

Yeah, and I also always wind up wasted. lol I get nervous and drink compulsively since I used to smoke. Got something in my hand, gotta put in my mouth to feel better. Wind up wasted

 

Last week I proved to myself that I don't need a drink to loosen myself up, as I went out three times last week completely sober. But that doesn't mean I don't get excessively drunk sometimes, especially if the music's shite...

I'd rather be drunk in a club than somewhere where I can have a conversation though, that's much more embarrassing.

 

I never drink so i just go and let the atmosphere loosen me up

 

The club atmosphere isn't for me and I hate most drinks, so no to both accounts. I think if I loosened up a spring might fall out.

 

I used to, but for some reason I don't need to anymore. I really like beer though, so I still drink a bit too much on most nights out

In my experience most music in clubs is utter shit, yay for getting excessively drunk (also counts when the music is good. see beer statement above)

 

I do need a few pints down me it sort of relaxes you .

Hmm, I would probably benefit from a couple of drinks. I just worry that I'll end up acting stupid lol.

 

in straight bars i dont need a drink to loosen up... but would drink any way lol...

in gay bars i need to be tipzy before going in and then when im in, i need to be drunk to loosen up my nerves...sometimes i just sit at the bar and down shots like its water... its worse when guys talk to me... i'll just stand there and drink my bottle and hope they walk away (though i dont want them too, if theyre cute)

 

I try to keep my personal space so I'm not a fan of clubs. I like bars though. I do like alcohol but avoid drinking it because my gayness crawls out and makes my straight friends feel uncomfortable :lol: . I can have fun without alcohol but when I drink too much I start explaining chemistry (to prove that I'm not drunk but that actually proves the opposite) and slap other boys' butts. It's so funny when they are like "oh my god what the fuck are you doing" and I'm laughing my ass off at their reactions.

 

in 12 step recovery when i go to clubs i stick to cola

BTW when i drink i break out in spots
