    Oh Owen this one's for you!

    Hot Chocolate vs Eggnog! Two well known Christmas favorites (at least in the US). During that festive season which drink would you reach for! (Yes we all add 'extra' or 'secret' ingredients like vodka or peppermint but that's not important right now!)

    Me personally I love em BOTh! But Eggnog upsets my stomach so I drink more Hot Chocolate.

    I've never tried eggnog, so I can't genuinely say which one I like more. :slight_smile:

    I definitely prefer Hot Chocolate. I'm not a big fan of Eggnog.

    I haven't tried eggnog because I don't like any form of egg I have had. I haven't tried hot chocolate either, because I don't like any form of chocolate I have had. This isn't going well.

    It may sound gross but its rich milk tasting with WONDERFUL flavored spices!!! Try it at least once!

    That does stink a little but I can understand! I thought eggnog sounded gross till I tried it. As for chocolate, there are soo many different flavors that its almost impossible to taste them all. So don't give up my young Connoisseur!:icon_bigg

    Last christmas was the first time I tried eggnog. We had regular and vanilla flavored. The latter was good. I poured a little, came back and poured a full glass. Then I looked at the nutrition label... lol. Was kind of put off.

    Anyway, I think I would prefer hot chocolate.

    Advocaat is a traditional Dutch / Belgian rich and creamy liqueur made from eggs, sugar and brandy. It has a smooth, custard-like flavor and is similar to eggnog & you can buy it in the UK :slight_smile:

    I agree but it wouldn't hurt to try new things! I personally don't like alcohol but I still try once in a while, never like it but I still try.
