By Mike Sachoff - Mon, 03/10/2008 - 11:01am. Researchers from Melbourne's Swinburne University of Technology say that blogging makes people feel happier. Two studies examining the psychological benefits of blogging done by psychologist James Baker and Dr. Susan Moore are being published in the journal Cyber Psychology and Behavior. The studies found that blogging can help people feel less depressed in two months and that bloggers have better social support and friendship networks than those who do not blog. This makes sense. I've started keeping a diary these last few months, and find it very therapeutic, it helps me sort out my head and my feelings, but I'm far too shy to let others see it. To be honest a lot of this blogging thing goes right over my head, I think I was a year too late or something, maybe it was around when I was at school, I don't know, but I wonder how many people have blogs?
I have a blog, but I don't ever use it. It was more of a project, to see if I could make some sort of blogging system (my geeky side coming through ). I do have a journal that I use somewhat frequently. I find that to be very helpful. I wouldn't want to use a blog for my personal thoughts, as they're always about specific people.
I have 3 Blogs Livejournal, the one in my sig and the one on EC. I love writing Blogs. It's the only artistic thing I can do. It's also a great way to get things off my mind.
It's been eight years now that I've been blogging. I used to blog every little thing, now it's just whatever interests me at the moment.
I blog on my myspace page and now I have a shitload of trannies pissed off at me..lol! I actually have a lot of stuff I've written when I began to deal with transition and it lead to me writing poetry, too...
That ain't no lie I've been doing video blogs for about a year, and I've been happier with my life. It's a real stress reliever.
