| Well Known Regular Member  Gender: Male Orientation: Gay Out Status: Out to everyone Location: New York City Age: 21 Posts: 171 Join Date: Jan 2008 |  Moving to Manhattan!!!!` So I usually don't talk much about this kind of stuff, but I'm about to burst, so I had to share this exciting news that I think you guys would be interested to know. Recently, I got into NYU's musical theatre composition program. It was my first choice of school, so I was SUPER psyched. Unfortuntately, NYU is rediculously expensive. I haven't recieved my financial aid package yet, so I dunno how much it's gonna cost for me to go there. I may not be able to afford that, but.... Two days ago I got accepted to the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College (on the upper east side). This was my third choice (under Columbia, also in Manhattan) and it is FREE tuition and room. The only thing I'd have to pay for is food!!! So the dream I've had all through high school has finally come true! Next August, I am moving from a super-conservative town to Manhattan to study musical theatre composition!!! I'm SOOOOO excited, so I had to share. |
