What are your plans? I'm cooking dinner this year.

Nobody in my family is religious so it is just like any other day to us. I have easter eggs to eat, but i think i may need to share some otherwise i'll be back at the dentist.

We're going out to someone's house to eat food. That's all we do on holidays like these, use it as an excuse to get food

I'll be going to Church and what-not. Then I'll have an egg hunt and maybe even paint some eggs, because my friend is coming round, and I want to cheer her up because she has crap home life atm. My Mum's an Anglican reader so it's v important for her, and I'm in the Church choir too, so there's a church service every other minute I have to go to. I wouldn't say I do Easter that big, not nearly as big as Christmas, but probably more than most people.

A study showed that Bunny ears was the first part eaten, so some company is making boxes of Bunny ears only.

Easter's on sunday o.o;; Oh well =P

Well, we NORMALLY have a big 3 family gathering, but one of the sisters/husband+kids of one of the family is in town, and the husband is abusive, and none of my family wants to be over there while he's there, so we're just gonna have a nice little family dinner. Sister cooking for the first time in a few years, and for once I don't have to >_< Plus, my dad died March 23, 2003, so we just want a little alone time, which also contributes to that.

Random tidbit: I was born Easter Sunday, 1989. March 26.

Also: The radio said Easter won't be in March for another 220 years after this

One family tradition is to colour eggs with wax crayon, boil 'em and eat them for breakfast. We always did it when I was a little kid and it makes for a fun breakfast!

I will be staying at home and eating dinner with my family. Other than that I will be preparing for the school week ahead.

hehe - doesn't boiling 'em make the chocolate melt?

Well -after going totally nuts to get everything finished 2 days earlier for my monthly work deadline (because of Easter) I'm enjoying the 4 day break at home.

The weather forecast here was crap (dropped from sunny high 20's to about 19DegC...and showery/overcast) - and every man and his dog is going away/on the roads - so I decided not to.

Given that I normally work pretty much 6 days a week (hey - don't knock it - I work for myself ), having 4 whole days is a real luxury for me. I have already caught up with so many things I wanted to do - and I still have 2 days left.

Happy Easter (& chocolate/hot cross bun overdose) everyone!

We are not buying each other chocolate this year as we are both trying to improve our diets and lose a bit of weight. I have bought Markie a Wii game and he has bought me a couple of CDs.

I am probably going to the gay disco at our local gay/mixed pub (The Black Lion) this evening, if some of the guys from work are going. I'll know later today. It'll be a bit of an Easter special, probably.
