So, I'd like to hear about all you lovely people's 'first time passing' tales!
Today at the doctor's, the receptionist thought I was a boy. She reffered to me as 'he' and 'him' and 'young man'. I was happy, really happy- my mom? Not so much
So, what were your first times like?

Mine was at Village Inn. While I was walking into the restaurant a guy got out of the paying line to open the door for me. His smile while saying "here you go ma'am" made my heart about beat out of my chest with excitement. I even overheard him make a comment about how cute I was to his friend while I was getting seated. X3

I don't really identify as trans* yet (still figuring it all out), but I remember having my parents friends always assume I was their son and it made me so happy. :3 But that was so many years ago.

But recently, I "crossdressed" a few weeks ago while on a walk, and a guy passed me going, "Sorry, excuse me sir." It felt awesome.

And if I can make my voice go deep enough, I'm taken as a male on the phone. I love it.

I had to honestly restrain myself from cheering. It was like "YES! Finally someone sees the real me!". Needless to say after eating I floated all the way home.

That's wonderful hun! ^_^ I hope you get sir'd many more times! The euphoric feeling from passing is the best.

To my knowledge it was in December. I was dropping stuff off at a soup kitchen with my mom and one of the employees asked my mom if I was her son. Even though she quickly said no, it's the first time I think I ever got read correctly in public by a stranger. Best day ever.

I think it was my Russian Trapper hat that did the trick. You hear that guys, hats really do help!

I can only imagine how awesome this must feel, to be acknowledged as your true gender. Good on you, ladies and gentlemen.

I think the first time I was working, operating a carousel and all day the kids and parents were refering to me as a girl or lady and one really cute kid said "thank you horsey lady" as they were getting carried out by their parents. My heart melted after that.

I love this thread!! It's such a good idea!

Well I passed twice in one day a couple of months ago and I wasn't even trying.

The first time, I was walking in the mall by myself trying to waste sometime, and just as I was heading out this big guy sitting on the bench was all "Hey man." ..I ignored him of course until he called out to me again, so I turned around and asked what. He then proceed to ask if I had any weed. I didn't think I looked like a stoner, but I was called a dude nonetheless.

The second time that day, I went to get some lunch. I ordered a sandwich to which the guy at the counter said Sure thing, buddy. I waited about five minutes before the sandwich was done, he proceeded to say hey buddy, here you go. I said thanks and he said sure thing man.

That was the best day ever. xD

I'm not trans, but when I dressed up like a guy for Halloween I could pass as male if I didn't talk. It was kind of fun for one day.

Lol. In Ecuador it is a tradition for guys to wear drag on New Year's Eve. My cousin got hit on by a gay man when he was dressed in drag despite being with his wife. It was hilarious.
